2 Weeks after 1st Tapering

Josh just had his check up today,
after two weeks of tapering his steroid dosage from 30mg everyday to 20mg every other day.
His urine test showed flying colors,
his doctor was also so satisfied with the result.
Praise God!!!
Mommy is so happy, I feel like dancing.
Woohoooo!!

And on top of that,
my baby has gradually turned to his usual self;
the super talkative and active baby.
His appetite is also going back to (almost) normal by now.

Things went much smoother at the hospital today because the sweet baby is back!
He cooperatively peed in the tube;
kindly greeted the nurses and politely said thank you..

We need to continue the 20mg of steroid for another 2 weeks,
then we will taper down 2.5mg every two weeks.
I can’t wait to have my baby steroid free..

Still a long way to go, probably until the first quarter of next year..
But when you finally see the light at the end of the tunnel,
it fuels you to march on with your head held high.
March, march, march!
